Closing Out 2025 With Gratitude, Growth, and Purpose
As we wrap up 2025 at The Color Bloc, we can’t help but look back with full hearts. This year brought incredible accomplishments, unexpected challenges, and moments that reminded us why community and creativity matter more than ever.
From expanding our curated Detroit-inspired palettes, to supporting local artists, muralists, and homeowners in crafting meaningful spaces, 2025 was a year of learning, building, and evolving. We pushed ourselves to refine what color can mean for modern Detroit homes — not just as paint on a wall, but as a way to bring harmony, personality, and confidence into our everyday spaces.
We also faced hurdles that tested our resilience. Supply delays, project pressures, and the constant balancing act of running a small, community-centered business reminded us that growth rarely comes without grit. But through each challenge, our customers, partners, and neighbors showed up. Your trust, creativity, and support kept us moving forward.
And now, as we look toward 2026, we’re stepping with intention.
Stepping Into 2026: Thoughtful Style, Purposeful Spaces, and Community at the Heart
The year ahead is about thoughtfulness — thoughtful color, thoughtful design, and thoughtful living. We’re entering 2026 with a renewed focus on creating cohesive, purposeful spaces that feel authentic, grounded, and beautifully Detroit.
With the release of Silhouette — Benjamin Moore 2026 Color of the Year and a full lineup of curated Detroit palettes, we’re excited to help you explore color in deeper, more meaningful ways. Our goal is to offer not just paint, but inspiration — the kind that elevates homes, fuels creativity, and tells your story.
Most importantly, we’re entering the new year with gratitude for the community that surrounds us. The artists, homeowners, designers, contractors, neighbors, and friends who make The Color Bloc more than a store — they make it a hub of creativity and connection.
Thank you for being part of our journey.
Thank you for supporting local.
Thank you for believing in the power of color to transform lives, homes, and our city.
Here’s to a new year filled with style, intention, warmth, and community — and to building Detroit’s most thoughtful, inspiring spaces together.
Cheers to 2026. We can’t wait to share it with you.

Community Partners
Collaboration fuels our impact. We work alongside local partners to strengthen neighborhoods, share resources, and build something meaningful together. We had the pleasure to supply volunteers from all over the country to help a neighbor in North End get all new exterior paint!

Supporting Art
We proudly support artists and creatives who shape Detroit’s culture, providing color, materials, and space for expression across the city. This year we donated buff paint to Murals in the Market!

Small Business Matters
As an independent Detroit business, we believe shopping local keeps creativity thriving and communities connected. Our 2nd Annual Small Business Saturday was a success thanks to our Neighbors in North End and Milwaukee Junction.
